Beriev Be-200

The Beriev Be-200 is an amphibious water bomber produced by the Russian Beriev Aircraft Company. It is a smaller, modernized version of the Beriev Be-42. The aircraft can be operated from a land base or on water. Its missions include maritime surveillance, forest fire-fighting, environmental protection and the transport of passengers and freight for export. The cruising speed of the loaded Beriev Be-200 is 550 Km/h, compared with 610 Km/h, a load that reduces its range from 3850 Km to 1700 Km.
